- October 23: Fall Festival - Cand collection boxes will be available at the main entrances of building 996
- October 24: No School-Teacher Workday
- October 30-31: No School - Parent Teacher Conferences
If your student is missing an item, please stop by the Lost & Found located in Building 996 near the café to see if it has been turned in.
We love our community’s pets, but for safety and liability reasons pets are not allowed on campus during the school day, including arrival and dismissal. This applies even if a pet is leashed or carried.
Please take a few minutes to talk with your child about bus safety—staying seated, using quiet voices, and keeping hands and feet to themselves. Working together helps keep every ride safe and smooth!
October is Bullying Awareness and Prevention Month. At RES, throughout October, students will take part in age-appropriate lessons on kindness, empathy, and how to be an upstander. We’ll practice using clear words to ask for help, learn what bullying is (and isn’t), and reinforce our Koala commitments across classrooms, hallways, buses, and the playground. Join us on October 22nd for Unity Day by wearing something orange.

On Tuesday, October 7th, families will receive an email to select members of our School Advisory Committee (SAC). Nominations were due on September 19th. SAC is composed of parents, teachers, and other stakeholders. Results of the election will be shared with families on October 9th. The SAC advises school leadership and installation advisory committees on key school-related matters.
Its mission includes:
- Advising on Policies and Programs: Recommending actions that support effective educational policies.
- Fostering Collaboration: Encouraging communication among administrators, military leaders, parents, and students.
- Addressing Issues: Coordinating efforts to identify and resolve school-level challenges.
- Enhancing Educational Outcomes: Supporting initiatives that improve student experiences and academic success.
If you have an idea or issue that you would like to bring to the attention of the School Advisory Committee (SAC) that is within their purview, please complete the form HERE. Your input will be discussed at the next SAC meeting

Thursday - Cheese or pepperoni pizza or patty melt, savory sweet potato fries or dark green side salad, and fruit.
