Koala News - November 3, 2023
November is designated as National Native American Heritage Month. This observance commemorates the history, heritage, and culture of Native Americans and Alaskan Natives. It is during this month we acknowledge the vast achievements of America’s original indigenous people. Here’s a video highlighting one of DoDEA’s educators sharing their culture and heritage.
Our second annual Jog-a-Thon has begun! Family and friends can donate to the fundraiser November 1st-22nd. To make the event a success, we need your support race week which is November 13th-17th. If you are interested in volunteering your time, please sign up here.Â
As a reminder, for the safety of our school community, all visitors and volunteers must enter at building 996 and sign-in to the front office. While in our buildings, visitors and volunteers must wear a yellow badge.
