Ramstein Elementary hosts a fun-filled Math Night
Ramstein Elementary School welcomed hundreds of families for an interactive and engaging Math Night on Nov. 14. The event celebrated the joy of learning and showcased math’s practical and fun applications in daily life.
The evening began with a pizza dinner, followed by a variety of math games and activities spread across classrooms. Designed to be both entertaining and educational, the activities provided families with ideas and resources to continue exploring math concepts at home.
“We loved seeing the enthusiasm from our students and their families,” said Beatrice Whitely, one of the event organizers. “Our goal was to make math accessible, enjoyable, and a sharedexperience for everyone.”
Families shared glowing feedback, expressing appreciation for the well-organized event and the chance to connect with the school community in a meaningful way.
Math Night was a team effort, spearheaded by Whitely and Heather Schmidt, with support from dedicated staff volunteers and cadets from Ramstein High School’s JROTC program. Their collaboration ensured the event ran smoothly and created a welcoming atmosphere for all attendees.
Events like Math Night highlight Ramstein Elementary’s commitment to fostering a love of learning while strengthening bonds within the school community. The school looks forward to hosting more opportunities that inspire and engage students and their families.
