Ramstein Elementary Educator Recognized for Innovation, Collaboration in Classroom Tools

Ms. Lauren Thompson, an educator at Ramstein Elementary School, has been recognized for her outstanding dedication and innovative approach to enhancing student learning and supporting fellow educators across the Europe Central School District.
Working closely with Instructional Support Specialist Ms. Marsters, Thompson developed a comprehensive guide for creating customized Reveal exit tickets — a tool designed to assess student understanding and inform instruction. The initiative reflects Thompson’s commitment to integrating technology to improve educational outcomes.
“This guide has been a game-changer for teachers looking to tailor their assessments in a meaningful way,” said Marsters. “Ms. Thompson’s leadership and collaborative spirit made it all possible.”
Thompson also collaborated with Ms. Costa, contributing to a resource that has since been lauded for its practicality and ease of use. The guide garnered the attention of district leaders and was shared by Robert Maddalozzo and Kevin Schiele with Educational Technologists throughout the Europe Central School District.
The dissemination of the tool underscores the district’s emphasis on teamwork and professional development. “When educators like Ms. Thompson take initiative and share their expertise, it uplifts the entire district,” said Schiele.
Thompson’s work not only enhances classroom instruction but also provides meaningful support to her peers. By identifying a common need and creating a clear, adaptable solution, she has made a lasting impact on instructional strategies across the region.
Her efforts exemplify the spirit of collaboration and innovation that continues to drive educational excellence within the district.
