Stuffie sleepover brings extra fun to Read Across America Week at Ramstein Elementary

This week, Ramstein Elementary is buzzing with excitement as they celebrate Read Across America Week! The school is filled with literacy-themed activities, including special guest readers in classrooms, fun dress-up days, and their much-anticipated Dr. D’s Literacy Night. Dr. Billie Dysinger was a beloved teacher who was passionate about fostering a love of reading in every child.

One particularly adorable highlight of the week is the Stuffie Sleepover in the library, hosted by Ramstein Elementary's amazing information specialist, Brenda Rahe. Each class sent a beloved stuffed animal to spend the night in the library, and Rahe has been documenting their adventures on her website. From late-night reading sessions to playful gym escapades, these stuffed animals have been keeping her on her toes!

With so many exciting activities, Ramstein Elementary is showing that reading is not just fundamental — it’s fun!
